Michael Larzelere is the author of The Year Winter Came Late, The Year Spring Came Late, The Year Summer Came Late, and The Year Fall Came Late, as well as several poems. He is a retired teacher, starting his teaching career by instructing preschool handicapped students and finishing it teaching 4th grade. He lives in Port Huron, Michigan, with his wife and elephant collection. When not writing, he likes to do crossword puzzles, golf, and read.
